405th Aircrew Training Group (AZ)

The 405th Aircrew Training Group (405 ATRG) was activated on 1 Jan 2008 at Phoenix ANGB, 161 Air Refueling Wing of the AZ Air National Guard at Sky Harbor International Airport, Phoenix, Arizona. The unit is responsible for training, coordination and standardization of subordinate units in the state of Arizona.
Motto: 'Coelis Imperamus' "WE RULE THE SKIES"
Mission - The mission of the 405th ATRG is to train, coordinate, supervise, and maintain the high standards of Arizona Air Force Explorer Units in accordance with the directives of Headquarters - Air Force Explorers (AFX), division of the United States Military Explorers (USMX).
